I know I’ve fallen behind in getting designs up on Blair Peacock Creations and Mandala Magic, but I’ve been thinking about opening up a new store.

I’ve written over 300 poems, and I’ve been mulling over the idea of turning them into art for posters, cards, postcards, and maybe even clothing. I tried making a few, and they didn’t come out to my liking, so I scrapped the idea for a while, but it’s still rolling around in the back of my head.

I went out and collected a whole bunch of royalty-free stock art to use as backgrounds for the poems. If I can figure out a way to get them to look right, I think it would be a great way to get my writing out to more people. Of course, I’m still trying to get people to buy my books, and I’m working on new writing as well. I guess I have a thing for having lots of pans on the fire. *grins*

If the inspiration hits, and I get enough images done to open a new shop, I’ll be sure to let you know. Most of my poetry is really dark, so it’ll only appeal to a select audience, but maybe I can become a one-stop-shop for all the emo kids. LOL.
