Site Being Totally Redesigned

Some time back I gave the site a big facelift. Well, now it is getting a MAJOR redesign. I have lived this site, but it became a pain to work on. I was starting to put parts of the site onto blogs because it was easier to work with that way. Now I have decided to take the next step…

The Vampire’s Lair is no longer going to be a traditional website. I am changing the entire site over to a WordPress management system. While I am not thrilled by the lack of design flair (which I had put a great deal of work into) I am very pleased with the ease of updating, and the fact that the site will become totally interactive for the visitors.

While this transition takes place, the site will be reduced to a bare-bones status, and be rebuilt from the ground up. Pages will be missing, things will not be here at first. I will re-add them as time allows. Some sections of the site may be gone for good, but I will do my best to bring back all of the sections that I know were popular.

I hope that you will bear with me as this transition takes place, and I hope that you enjoy the newfunctionality and interactivity that the site will have to offer.

I’ve imported all of the blog posts.
I’ve imported all of the Vampires in the News articles from the News blog.
I’ve copied over all of the pages from the “Main” category of the old site.
I’ve copied all the pages from Lore & Info – General.
I’m working on Lore & Info – Fact.

Once all of the info is moved, I’ll try to make the layout look a bit better. Bear with me if some of the articles have bad formatting, I *will* fix them all in time.
