Shuffling things around a bit

Thank you for coming back! If you haven't yet, you might want to subscribe to our RSS feed to stay up-to-date.

You may have noticed that things look a little different here now. I was having some compatibility issues with the Limit Posts plugin. It was causing the menu bars to either appear at the bottom of some pages, or not appear at all. I figured you folks wouldn’t think that was too slick, and it sure makes me look bad as the webmistress.

As much as I loved the plugin, it wasn’t working right. As a matter of fact, I have had to remove it from ALL my blogs From now on, I guess I’ll have to go in and manually use the “more” tag to break up the posts. Sorry if it’s a little annoying, but at least it will work without issues.

Oh, and I’ve limited the front page and tag results to only 2 pages at a time for right now. When I have the time, I’ll edit the posts to add the “more” tag, and after that’s done, I’ll go back to showing more posts on a page.

I’ve also done some messing about with the ads on the site, and I added a really nice new feature. You may notice no that there’s a “Related Posts” list at the bottom of each entry. I hope that this helps you with navigation, and possibly leads you to other interesting articles that you may not have known were here. If you see any pages where the list seems wholly irrelevant to the post you’re reading, drop me a line and I’ll fiddle with the settings until I get you the best results. However, my initial testing shows that it’s working quite well.

Hope you can bear with the new changes, and that you will enjoy the site more now that it’s working better.

Great blog. Vampire books are the best. Did you hear the new novel by Catherine Jinks focuses on the real world issues vampires face? http://www.iheartvampires.net/?p=321
